"Heart of Gold" Clown Mask

Certificate of authenticity included. This is not a made to order mask. This is a one of a kind, and ready to ship mask. So, what you see in the image is what you get! Take note of the gold tooth, and golden tears shed by this performer. Oh the stories it could tell! This piece was on display during the month of February at the Artrageous Art Hub Gallery in downtown Sherman, TX. It will include a certificate of authenticity. 

The original sculpture of this clown mask was sculpted by Erin in oil based clay. Then Erin molded it in silicone to create copies. This Heart of Gold Clown was created from within that same mold. It's final form is a polyurethane plastic which has been hand casted, hand sanded, hand stained, hand painted, gold leaf laid by hand, hand sealed. Then, a golden rope was hand glued to the edges to create a faux hood and extended beyond to be used to tie on for wearing or as a decorative ribbon for hanging display. Made with love of course, and by hand incase you didn't pick up on that ha!

Not counting the decorative rope, this clown measures 9.5 inches tall, 5.75 inches wide, and 3 inches deep. This could be used as a mask to wear, it is incredibly durable and has decent visibility and breathability. Most people when they buy one of these Retro clowns hang it to be displayed on a wall, or sit it on a shelf amongst their macabre collection.
