This is not made to order. This is a one of a kind, and ready to artwork. So, what you see in the images is what you get! The moon is forced to stare at our Earth and it can't help but shed some tears. Golden star crater accents were added to the piece utilizing a clay putty. It is finished with a decorative, curly, gold wire that has a few stars and moons as accents on each side of it's face. This is a unique piece created from within one of Erin's old school, papermache inspired, jackolantern molds. It is signed, dated, and a stamped, golden seal is adhered to the back.
The original sculpture was sculpted by Erin in oil based clay. Then Erin molded it in silicone to create copies. This Moon Cries for Us pieces was created from within that same mold. It's final form is a polyurethane plastic which has been hand casted, hand sanded, hand painted, to include adding hidden pops of gold leaf paper. Made with love of course, and by hand incase you didn't pick up on that ha!
Not counting the decorative wire, this deranged moon measures 9.25 inches tall, 8.5 inches wide, and 3.75 inches deep. This could be used as a mask to wear, it is incredibly durable and has decent visibility and breathability. Most people when they buy one of these vintage clown masks hang it to be displayed on a wall, or sit it on a shelf amongst their macabre collection.
